In June of 2005, we held our second fundraiser.  Hosted by Susie Essman and held at Caroline’s on Broadway, it was a comedy show and auction.  We were entertained by several hysterical comedians who, like Ms. Essman, donated their time to our cause.  Both glasses and funds were raised and while we were thrilled that everyone had a great time, we were even more excited by the fact that GIVE AND LEARN received more than $120,000.  Our sincerest thanks to everyone who supported us by attending, donating auction items and contributing.

It went great! We raised more than $60,000. (That's A LOT of bookbags.) The comedians were unbelievable and Susie Essman, of course, was her hilarious self. Hopefully, Caroline's on Broadway will have us back next year!
